Green Anaheim chile peppers are medium-sized, elongated, and curved pods with a conical shape and moderate tapering towards the non-stem end, averaging 15 to 25 centimetres in length. The semi-thick skin has a glossy and waxy sheen over dark to light green hues and is smooth with large linear indentations across the length of the pod.
