White Dixie Butter Pea, Lima Bean (Phaseolus lunatus)
White Dixie Butter Pea is an excellent home vegetable garden variety and produces delicious, small lima with three or four nearly round lima beans inside each pod. Bush type plants grow about twenty inches high. This is an excellent lima bean variety for southern gardeners, as it does will in hot weather. Lima Beans, named for capital of Peru where they first discovered by the Spaniards, originated in the wilds of Central and South America.
