Viburnum tinus (Laurustine)
Laurustine is a Mediterranean viburnum that tolerates coastal circumstances and is mildly salt-tolerant and drought resilient. It is endemic to Europe and Africa's Mediterranean regions. Blooms in clusters of pink buds that unfold to white throughout the winter and spring. The glossy, dark-green foliage are attractive all year. Fruit set necessitates the presence of another viburnum variety nearby. In full sun to medium shade, use this shrub as a specimen or hedge.
