Sugar Snap Pea, Edible Pod Snap Pea (Pisum sativum)
An AAS Winner Sugar Snap Peas are a disease-resistant type of pea. The vines produce an abundance of delicious 8 cm (3") pods that are fully edible. Raw, stir-fried, steamed, or in salads, these strong yields have a delicious sweet flavour and crisp texture. It's also good for freezing.
