Serrano Pepper, HOT (Capsicum annuum)
Green or red hot peppers, small and finger-shaped. It's simple to dry.
Serrano produces a large number of medium-thin-walled fruits per plant. Pick them when they're young and mild, or wait until they're grown and "red hot," with a Scoville rating of around 10,000. Days to maturity are calculated from the moment the plants are planted in the garden. Add 8-10 weeks for transplants. Plants should be spaced 18-24" apart.
