Sempervivum forms a neat bright rosette of foliage that often produces offsets that cluster around it. Hence the name Hen and Chicks. This mix contains several species ranging in color from grey-green, to light green to deep maroon. The blooms also vary in colors of yellow and pink shades. Very easy to grow from seed. Hardy in zones 5-10. Full sun.
Planting Instruction: Sow in trays, pots, or jiffy mix in a warm location to maintain an optimum temperature of 65-70F (Top of Refrigerator works fine for us during the winter).
