Ruby Queen Beet (Beta vulgaris)
For more than 50 years, Ruby Queen beets have been a favorite in American gardens. At the baby leaf point, Ruby Queen produces crunchy, succulent leaves and stalks with a fine, mild flavor, as well as large, uniform bulbs when fully grown. For roasting or processing, the smooth, deep red beets have pink internal rings and a very sweet flavor.
