Paeonia mlokosewitschii (Molly the Witch Peony)
Plants create a medium-sized mound of blue-green leaves with purple veining and edges. The solitary blooms have a spherical shape and are a brilliant bright yellow with darker stamens. This, in particular, need adequate drainage. In full sun to mild shade is best. Peonies are rarely divided or transferred, but if they are, it should only be done in the fall. Late in the fall, cut old stems to the ground to help prevent disease issues.
