Mr. Stripey Tomato, Standard (Slicing) Tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum)
Red fruits with orange/yellow stripes grow on this medium to large beefsteak-style tomato. Fruits can be up to a pound in weight and have a delicious flavour. This tomato is commonly used for slicing. Some strains are more yellow than red in colour. There is another tomato variety called 'Mr. Stripey,' which was previously known as 'Tigerella.' This variety has smaller fruit, with similar coloration, but tends to be more red/orange than the other 'Mr. Stripey'.
