Minnesota Midget Melon (Cucumis melo)
Minnesota Midget Melon (Cucumis melo): The flesh of this attractive, small-fruited muskmelon is rather flavorful, and the rind is ultra-thin. The vines produce a large number of small melons, which are suitable for lunchboxes and general snacking. This compact heirloom was developed in the 1940s at the University of Minnesota.
