Mexican Mint Marigold (Tagetes lucida)
Mexican Tarragon, Sweet Mace, and Spanish Tarragon are all names for the same herb. The anise flavour of the edible golden flowers and foliage is slightly tinged with citrus. It can be substituted for French tarragon in gourmet dishes. In late summer, this neat upright bush grows up to 24" tall and is covered in clusters of golden yellow flowers. It keeps its simple bright flowers for a long time and looks lovely in herb and flower form.
