Mammoth Gold Pumpkin (Cucurbita maxima)
The Mammoth Gold Pumpkin is a smooth, moulted pink golden-orange, irregularly shaped pumpkin with subtle ribs. This type grows to be 18-24" in diameter and weighs between 40 and 60 pounds, but can reach over 100 pounds! The rich pale yellow-orange flesh of the Mammoth Gold is edible but gritty, and can be used in pies as well as novelties.
