Lagerstroemia indica (Crape myrtle, Common Crapemyrtle)
Lagerstroemia indica (Crape myrtle, Common Crapemyrtle) is a small to medium-sized deciduous shrub or tree with a varied, fairly thick habit and a multi-stemmed shape. Our mix contains blooms ranging from red, purple, to pink, and white. The foliage is dark green in the summer and changes to yellows, oranges, and reds in the fall. Exfoliation of the thin grey bark reveals a smooth, vari-colored under bark ranging from brown to grey. When it's young, it requires a lot of moisture. It will survive drought once planted and thrive well in small soil spaces.
