IBERIS amara 'Empress' (Rocket Candytuft)
Iberis Amara commonly known as candytuft, rocket candytuft, and bitter candytuft is a species of flowering plant native to Belgium and France. It is found in the range of disturbed or human influenced habitats of Connecticut, Massachusetts and Maine. The plant is used in traditional and western medicine to treat irritable bowel syndrome. They resent heat and humidity, blooming all seasons in cooler summer areas, spring to summer.
