Green mottled stripes on greenish white skin, light yellow meat, mild flavour comparable to button squash, hard thin rind, pear-shaped with bent neck, popular for boiling, baking, and pies 5kg to 7kg fruit stores well on this heat-tolerant trailing vine. Its origins can be traced back to the Caribbean. Sow during the spring and summer seasons.Often considered to be the premier pumpkin for pies. Bulbous bottom with curved, tapered neck. Thick yellow flesh is great for cooking as well as stock feed. Stores well.
