Cascadia Pea, Edible Pod Snap Pea (Pisum sativum)
This delectable snap pea was created specifically for the West Coast. Cascadia snap pea seeds grow into vines that don't need a trellis and tumble around (try putting some twigs in to stabilise them), reaching a height of 60cm (24 inches) ") in general. The dark green pods are 9cm (3.5") long "They're crunchy, juicy, and sweet and last for a long time. The enation virus and powdery mildew are not a problem for Cascadia peas.
