Black Nebula Carrot (Daucus carota)
The roots are soft, finely flavoured, and have hints of wild berry taste in their flavour. One of the darkest (and antioxidant-rich) carrots we've seen, with an extremely deep purple hue, and the roots are sweet, finely flavoured, and have hints of wild berry taste in their flavour. This superfood gem was developed from some typical carrots found in a northern Indian market, and by selecting for the darkest roots, it has become one of the black varieties.
