The Dahurian birch, Betula dahuvica, is a medium-sized deciduous tree with a round-spreading crown. Forests and mountain slopes in northeastern China, Manchuria, Korea, and Japan are home to this species. It might have a single trunk or many trunks. The uneven, doubly serrate edges of the ovate to elliptic dark green leaves. In the fall, the leaves become yellow.
