Argentine Bahia Grass Seed - Coated (Grass Seed)
Argentine Bahia Grass (Paspalum notatum) is a warm-season perennial grass that is commonly grown in the southeastern United States, Central and South America, and some parts of Africa. It is a highly adaptable grass that can tolerate a wide range of soil types, including sandy and clay soils, and it has excellent drought tolerance.
The grass has a distinctive bright green color and a coarse texture, with leaves that are typically 2-6 mm wide and 10-30 cm long. The stems can grow up to 1 meter tall and have numerous branching points. The grass produces seed heads on tall stalks, which can grow up to 60 cm in height.
Argentine Bahia Grass is known for its excellent pasture and hay production, as well as its ability to provide good ground cover and erosion control. It is also widely used for landscaping purposes, especially in areas where other types of grass may not grow well. The grass is relatively low-maintenance and can be easily established from seed or sod.
