The Manchurian Maple is a Chinese native. It has a complex leaf made up of three leaflets with serrated margins, which sets it apart from most maples. The leaves become pink and orange in the fall. It can be cultivated as a tiny tree or shrub with many trunks. It can grow to be 20 feet tall. There are some higher trees (35 to 40 feet) on record, but they are well over 50 years old.
