Sweet Meat Squash, Winter (Cucurbita maxima)
Sweet Meat Squash is a winter squash heirloom from the Pacific Northwest. It produces vigorous vines that are 12"-18" tall and spread 6-10 feet in every direction. The leaves and vines are covered in trichomes, which are small hairs. The flowers are trumpet-shaped and yellow-orange in colour.
