Chinese Pak Choi, White Stem (Brassica rapa Chinensis)

 Brassica Rapa Chinensis, annual to biennial is the group of plants in the mustard family, consisting of various cultivated species. Commercially grown as a food source and in the home garden. It grows well in full sun to partial shade as well as moist, well-drained soil. Soil pH is 6.0-7.5. Pak Choi needs consistent water in order to develop good texture, taste, and avoid tip burn. Water it regularly during dry weather. Leaves - raw or cooked. Well flavored and sweet with a hint of mustard. The leaves are also dried for winter use.
