Burgess Buttercup Squash, Winter (Cucurbita maxima)
A long-time favourite in New England! The vines can grow up to 15 feet long and produce 10-12 fruits per plant. A high percentage of our improved strain's squash is clean, non-warty, and uniform. On the blossom end of the fruit is a grey button. The breeder receives a portion of the sales of this variety.
