Passiflora mollisima (Banana Passion Fruit)
Passion fruit is a yellow, oval-shaped fruit with brilliant yellow exterior and orange flesh. The pulp is edible and delicious, however it is not as well-known as the purple passion fruit. Juice is frequently made using it. The vine grows to a height of 20 to 23 feet, with almost cylindrical stems thickly covered in golden hairs. Long and broad, finely toothed and downy above, grayish- or yellowish-velvety underneath, its deeply 3-lobed leaves are finely toothed and downy. The stipules are thin, curled, and short. The appealing flower has a long gray-green tube that is usually tinged with crimson.
