Ghost Pepper / Bhut Jolokia  Pepper, HOT (Capsicum annuum) is a type of chili pepper native to Northeast India. It is one of the hottest peppers in the world, with a Scoville rating (a measure of a pepper's heat) of over 1 million units, making it up to 400 times hotter than Tabasco sauce.

The Ghost Pepper has a unique shape and appearance, with a wrinkled and gnarled skin that is typically red, orange, or yellow when ripe. It is also available in dried and powdered form.

The flavor of the Ghost Pepper is complex, with a sweet and fruity taste initially, followed by an intense, searing heat that can linger for several minutes. It is often used in spicy dishes, hot sauces, and marinades, as well as for medicinal purposes in some cultures.

Due to its extreme heat, it is important to handle Ghost Peppers with caution, wearing gloves and avoiding contact with the eyes or other sensitive areas of the body.
