Cladrastis lutea (Yellowwood)
Yellowwood is a deciduous tree of medium size with a vase-like shape. In full light, it forks frequently and produces a large circular crown, but in thick shadow, it keeps a single tall stem with a considerably smaller shape. The leaves are alternating and pinnately complex, with 7 to 9 leaflets in most cases. Summer colours are brilliant green, while fall colours are golden-yellow.
