Lunar White is a mild and sweet white carrot with green shoulders. The tender roots reach a length of 6-8 inches. Carrots, particularly white carrots, are making a comeback. The carrots on the table were white when Henry VIII sat down for lunch. White carrots were common in the nineteenth century, but they faded from view in the twentieth. Sweet and crunchy, this improved variety is a winner.
