Italian Edible Gourd Squash, Summer (Lagenaria siceraria)
A tall bush with bright-golden, medium long and slender cylindrical fruits that is easy to grow. The fruit has a great flavour and is creamy white on the inside. Fruits should be picked when they are 4-6 inches long. Ideal for gardens with a limited amount of space. A versatile summer treat from your garden, with more flavour than green zucchinis but less yield. When the fruits start to form, fertilise on the side to boost the yield.
