Wando Garden Pea (Pisum sativum)
'Wando' is a cross between 'Laxton's Progress' (an English heirloom) and 'Perfection,' first released in 1943. (a New England heirloom). It is more heat resistant than other pea cultivars and is cold tolerant for early sowing. Plants are sturdy and grow 24"-30" tall, with 7-9 medium-sized peas in each pod.
