Magenta Sunset Swiss Chard (Beta vulgaris cicla)
Magenta Sunset is a stunning chard with hot pink to magenta stems and veins and dark jade-colored foliage. Because it bolts in the summer heat, Magenta Sunset Swiss chard seeds are grown primarily for immature salad greens. Even at full size, the leaves are smooth and the stalks are narrow. It will produce abundant nutritious leaves with a mild earthy flavour if kept in check.
