Petunia Dream Mix

Pelleted. Uniform, dwarf, bushy plants produce an abundance of blooms 3-1/2”- 4” across. (Vibrant non-fading)

Annual.  10-12 days, 72F. Sow on sterilized surface. Do not cover seeds. Needs light to germinate. Give good air circulation to keep botrytis from forming. Sow singles 10-12 weeks before sales. Doubles sow 12-14 weeks before sales.

F1 hybrid grandiflora – A nice blend of the best Dreams colors. Early 4 in/10 cm vibrant blooms. Free-flowering plants are excellent for pots or hanging baskets.

Plant Petunia Dreams Mix in full sun in any well worked soil in either containers or beds. Space plants 6" to 12" apart depending on how quickly you want the area to fill in. Plants can be sheared after the initial flowering to maintain bushiness and promote new flower growth... or they can be left un-sheared to grow naturally. Feed monthly with a liquid fertilizer.

Description: Petunias have trumpet-shaped flowers that are 2 to 3 inches across. They come in a wide variety of bright colors and may be solid in color or edged, striped, or starred with a contrasting color. Petunias do well from early spring until late fall. In the Fall, Petunias are excellent plants to fill in when you have to replace your summer plants in early September, and it is still too warm for Pansies. Petunias are able to handle the warmer weather of late summer/early fall and the cooler weather of mid- to late fall. They will survive light frosts, but the blooms will turn brown. A hard frost will kill most varieties of petunias.

Spacing: Plant 6” to 8” apart.

Height: Grows 10″ to 14″ tall.

How To Grow: Plant in full sun to part sun.

Outstanding Features: Very easy to grow and some varieties are fragrant.
Tips: Plants can be pinched after the initial flowering to maintain bushiness and promote new flower growth, or they can be left to grow naturally.

Uses: Garden Bed, Containers, Borders, Landscapes

F1 hybrids and doubles may need 80F to germinate.
