Nicotiana – Daylight Sensation
Nicotiana affinis

This is an old-fashioned open-pollinated specie that bears abundant branching sprays of pure crimson, sweetly perfumed flowers of pink, white, red and carmine colors. A dwarf plant relative to most Nicotiana; this variety grows to only about 36" high.

Virtually maintenance free - no deadheading and seldom bothered by pests - all they need is water and sun. A simply beautiful heirloom plant producing fragrant tubular flowers all summer long.

Excellent Fragrant & Accent Plant; A brilliant color range, many new colors. Blooms remain open all day.

  1. Amazing!! FAST Grower! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 24th Jul 2014

I'm planting a garden for my son who just bought a new house. He works over 60 hours a week so even though he has a great garden in front, he won't have too much time to dedicate to plants that require lots of care. So I thought these would be perfect!
I use a Jiffy Greenhouse <peat pellets in a tray all set and ready to go> and a Dirt Genius Light Kit, and I planted these seeds on Monday July 2st and these have already popped out of the dirt and are 1/4 inch tall!
I am THRILLED!!!! I cannot wait to actually plant these in his garden and watch them grow!
